Mr Arangies received a Lifetime Achievement Runner-up Award during the National Teaching Awards, Provincial Ceremony this evening. He has dedicated more than 30 years of service, 25 as a school principal to create an individual learning environment, that caters for all learning styles, to better prepare our learners for the challenges of the future.

Mr Arangies is an inspirational innovator who thinks differently about education and has transformed teaching strategies over many years. He encourages learners and teachers to develop critical, analytical and creative problem solving skills to effectively link school  knowledge and understand real life problems.

Over the years he has helped numerous other schools to transform the way they teach.
