Mr Arangies received a Lifetime Achievement Runner-up Award during the National Teaching Awards, Provincial Ceremony this evening. He has dedicated more than 30 years of service, 25 as a school principal to create an individual learning environment, that caters for all learning styles, to better prepare our learners for the challenges of the future.
Mr Arangies is an inspirational innovator who thinks differently about education and has transformed teaching strategies over many years. He encourages learners and teachers to develop critical, analytical and creative problem solving skills to effectively link school knowledge and understand real life problems.
Over the years he has helped numerous other schools to transform the way they teach. This includes primary schools, high schools, universities and organisations in the private sector, thus ensuring that his successes can help create a better future for all learners in other school communities as well.
We are very proud of our headmaster for his tremendous contribution to the teaching profession.
