Mr Henk Arangies has been awarded the bronze certificate in the category: Inspirational Innovator during the Western Cape Government 2020 SERVICE EXCELLENCE AWARDS ceremony today.
The different teaching approach that Mr Arangies applied at Eversdal Primary School, focus on mastering a deeper level of learning as found in the critical skills needed for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This learner-orientated learning environment allows for individual learning to happen anywhere and anytime.

Mr Arangies believes that teaching in South Africa needs to change, education must change and our classrooms, teaching, methodology and what we expect from our learners, must change.
He is an INSPIRATIONAL INNOVATOR who thinks differently and out of the box to ensure that learners’ curiosity is increased, allowing questioning. We salute him for a person who makes a profound impact on every staff member and learner and the way we teach at Eversdal Primary School.
