We are a Microsoft Showcase School!
On Tuesday afternoon we hosted a Microsoft Showcase School Event. Delegates from various schools attended the seminar on how Eversdal uses Microsoft in education. Not only did teachers and headmasters attend, but we were very privileged to welcome three senior WCED representatives. A word of gratitude to Dr Brand (Professional development), Mrs Christelle Barkhuizen (Chief Education Specialist for e-learning) and Mr Colin Morris (Directorate: e-learning) along with their E-learning advisers from Head Office and Districts North and East for attending the seminar.
The objective of the seminar was to share the e-learning and curriculum delivery philosophy of Eversdal. The following topics were discussed:
- Classroom set up for technology integration.
- Hardware requirements.
- Microsoft Office 365.
- OneNote Class set up and a practical demonstration.
- Educator communities to collaborate with.
The seminar was a huge success with excellent feedback from attendees. The WCED representatives were full of praise for the excellent progress Eversdal has made over the past five years. We are excited about future developments and working together for the benefit of our learners.
