ECO CLUB VISITED THE AQUARIUM

On the 23rd of February 2018, the Eco Club visited the Two Oceans Aquarium in the V&A Waterfront. The first part of the trip, after our arrival at the Aquarium, started with a lesson on different invertebrate species and this lesson aimed to teach the learners more about the different species of invertebrates.

The latter part of the lesson was specifically focused on pollution and how humanity is busy destroying numerous species of animals as well as how we can prevent further damage.

Thereafter we had sufficient time to enjoy the beauty of many different species by walking through the aquarium and just taking a moment to admire and enjoy the beauty of the different aquatic animals.

This trip coincides with our vision for the Eco Club as it provokes a sensitivity for nature and it informs the learners about the different ways in which we can conserve its beauty.
